Workshop on knowledge transfer for start-ups in the agri-food sector

On March 18-21, 2019, the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship will host a FoodMC workshop on knowledge transfer, targeting researchers in academy that wish to gain insight on how to organize and manage start-ups in the agri-food sector. FoodMC will fund travel and accommodation for the selected participants.

Interested in participating?

The workshop is open to FoodMC participants and other academic researchers coming from participating countries.  Ideal targets:
I. Early career investigators or PhD students, interested in exploring entrepreneurial opportunities.
II. Established researchers, interested in either gaining more experience in startup pitching and managing, or willing to transfer this knowledge to their students.

Due to the limited number of places available, a selection will be carried out by the local organizers. In case of overbooking, we will evaluate applications based on the following criteria: 
- researchers that already have a idea (even not developed) for a startup in the food sector
- belonging to an Inclusiveness Target Country
- being an Early Career Investigator
